Beautifully maintained and extremely rare. 2002 was the last year of a very short production run for this car. There were only 85 made in Oxford Green Metallic and of those, only 7 had the walnut leather interior. This one has the M interior, but is not an M model itself. It has the regular 3.0 liter, 228hp engine, which is much easier and cheaper to repair.
Factory-installed Dinan upgrades include a stabilizer bar that's kept the handling tight, air intake and exhaust that gives it a beautiful low growl, and a chip upgrade to eke out a little more performance.
Both interior and exterior are in fantastic condition. The exterior is marred only by a few paint chips on the rear bumper. The front is protected by a near invisible Clear Bra. (The broken fog light visible in the photos has already been replaced.) The interior has been well-maintained and kept clean.
The stereo is a custom installation by JG Audio & Alarm in Berkeley that sounds and looks amazing. It features a Pioneer head unit with dual USB inputs and bluetooth handsfree phone integration and separate Alpine digital amplifiers for the Focal speakers and 13" sub. Even the leather wrapping the sub and amplifiers is sourced from BMW so it matches perfectly.
Maintenance records, service manual, and custom car cover are included (just in case you need to store it outside for any amount of time).
It's an absolutely gorgeous car that I am reluctant to part with. If I had an extra garage space, I would keep it forever. Alas, circumstances have changed, I only have one garage and I won't park this on the street, so I have to let it go.
