The time has come to sell the Inaugural Z3 Coupe Buyers Guide Project Coupe. I've had it for just over a year and have loved every minute of it. It's a 2001 Z3 Coupe in sterling gray over black with chrome-line trim and an automatic. It's a rare sunroof-delete and has just 50,600 miles. My original goal was to keep it under 50,000 miles, but it's too much fun.
Recent maintenance highlights include: cooling system with Stewart water pump; brake pads and rotors, summer tires, front control arms, and oil pan and oil filter housing gaskets. It will be good to go for its new owner for a long time to come. I went through the rest of the car to fix and refurbish all that was broken and/or worn. Check out the Project Coupe Articles above for all the details. Remaining flaws that did not bother me for a driver are some clear coat issues on the wheels, a couple minor dings on the roof from what I assume was hail (none on the hood), and the dash has a crack near the windshield that is not visible from the driver seat and has not bothered me at all.
It's mostly stock but does have a quiet but great looking Supersprint exhaust, cross drilled brake rotors, and a Sony bluetooth headunit.
The sale will also include a copy of the 2017 Coupe Cartel Calendar featuring a photo of this coupe.
