Seller Description

I am looking to sell my 2002 Z3 3.0i manual Coupe. I purchased this a couple years ago since I missed my previous coupe with the intention of refreshing/restoring, but found that with kids getting older and driving their own cars, I need the garage space back. In short, it runs and drives fine and has been a good daily driver, but will need some work to get it 100%. I will try and list everything I can think of as accurately as possible.

The basics: 2002 Z3 3.0i Coupe in Dakar yellow with the chrome line trim. It has just under 66,000 original miles. It is a February 2002 manufacture date, which puts it about 3 months from the end of the production run in April of 2002. It still has the stock radio installed (works fine) along with a bluetooth module that sits behind the seat and connects to the back of the radio to emulate the CD Changer. The Bluetooth module provides music streaming and phone call capabilities. It also has the rear cargo cover and cargo net option.

The Good:
- Under 66,000 Miles
- Interior is in good shape except for the top of the passenger interior handle just came undone.
- Runs and drives fine
- Had a rebuilt power steering pump installed since I have owned it
- Installed new lower control arms on the front.
- Installed new oil pressure sensor
- No leaks under the car
- AC works fine
- Sunroof works fine
- Glove box door is in good shape and not sagging
- Replaced the seat bushings so it does not rock around
- Aside from the SAI code, not warning codes or lights
- Decent tires

The Bad:
- This has a salvage title from an accident in 2007 two owners ago.
- The paint needs a refresh/respray to repair clear coat damage and color matching. The front bumper is also pretty chipped at the bottom.
- The previous owner left it outside undriven for a while so the paint has some issues. Additionally, the windshield washer hose and the Secondary Air Intake (SAI) hose were not in good shape.
-- For the windshield washer reservoir, I just removed it. I still have it, but it will need new hoses
-- For the Secondary Air Intake unit, it mostly works fine, but will occasionally throw a code. I left the code active so you can see it listed with my code reader. Does not affect the function at all.
- The heater fan only works on High. This normally means the resistor bank needs to be cleaned. Just haven't done it as I do not really drive in the cold too much.
- Windows move a little slow. Could probably use new window guides

Other than the salvage title, this coupe has a lot going for it: the miles are low, the color combo is great, and it's a manual. It doesn't have too many new miles since we last saw it for sale back in 2022.  It's been cleaned up since we last saw it. The price seems pretty good to me even with the title.
