I HAVE A 2001 BMW COUPE. 3.0 straight six motor. I bought the car three years ago. Ive done some maintenance and other minor thing to it. I bought the car to fix and autocrooss and weekend drive. Ive have all parts to repair the car car except the roll up window. I have also collected some performance parts as well. Brake rotors , ceramic pads, stainless steel brake lines, performance lowering springs. The car rus and drives. There is a crank sensor code that won't clear. I have replaced the crank sensor but still won't clear. It may need to be reprogrammed by the dealer. That code will cause a longer start time and reduced power. The engine is strong. I did a compression test and pressure test. 5 speed transmission is great, clutch is tight. I don't know if it as been replaced. I knew te person I bought it from so I know it will run good after this is sorted out. I am a mechanic and hve been working on BMWs for a while. I am very familiar with this motor and transmission. They are well built. I've changed the oil and most all fluids. It has M pedal covers and M shift knob. I have 2 doors and all the hinges to repair the car. The car is factory triple black, exterior, interior and seats. The car has the original paint. Previous owner did some 5 year old touch up with a spray can lol.I love this car and I know it is very rare and desirable. I don't really have to sell it but I don't have the funds to repair it currently. Everything is stock except the intake filter set up. The interior is nice for its age, I have the passenger inner door panel not in pictures. That are $300 alone. I'm asking $6500 which is not crazy for this car. Frame is straight and undercarage is perfect. I'm familiar withe the frame separation on some of the M Coupes. I can text you specific pictures if you are serious. I have the title present. You will have to come before 9 am or after 6:30 pm to see the car during the week. No calls after 10 pm please. Thanks for looking!
